That Girl Foundation, a Christian-based, non-governmental organization located in Accra, Ghana (West Africa). A wing of the woman’s ministry of embassy of Zion international ministries, Weija Accra.
My passion for this work is deeply personal. Growing up, I was known in my local community as “the crying baby” because I was almost always in tears. Every morning on my way to school, I cried—carrying the deep pain of feeling unloved, unseen, and emotionally alone. Although my mother believed she was doing her best, I grew up feeling that nobody truly cared or was emotionally present for me. This emotional gap left me vulnerable, lost, and without direction.
Today, I know that many girls are still living this same reality—silently crying, confused, and exposed to harmful influences simply because they lack guidance, support, and someone willing to listen.
That Girl Foundation was created from this lived experience and a Christian calling to restore hope to vulnerable girls.
The mission of That Girl Foundation is to support girls and young women between the ages of 13 and 25 who have faced challenges such as school dropout, teenage pregnancy, poverty, broken homes, abuse, child labour, emotional neglect, and lack of direction.
Through Christian love, compassion, and practical support, we provide:
Our goal is to help these young ladies rediscover hope, rebuild confidence, and pursue healthier, purposeful lives—either by returning to school or by acquiring practical skills that enable them to become self-reliant and productive members of society.
Our vision is to see every vulnerable girl restored to dignity, purpose, and hope, knowing that she is loved by God, valued by society, and capable of fulfilling her God-given destiny.
That Girl Foundation operates from a church and mission background, believing that true transformation comes when spiritual guidance is combined with practical support. We seek to reflect the love of Christ by walking alongside girls who feel unseen and unheard, helping them rise above their circumstances.
That Girl Foundation exists to give voice to the silent tears of vulnerable girls and to remind them that there is hope for the future.
We welcome prayer, partnership, volunteer support, and donations from churches, individuals, and organizations who share this vision.
